This is an English translation provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.
1. Introduction and legal framework
This notice sets out the main information on the processing of personal data and the use of cookies on this website. It applies to anyone who visits or uses this website and describes how the user’s personal data may be collected, used and protected through cookies and similar technologies, as well as the rights granted by law.
It does not cover other websites, pages or online services reachable through external links on this site. This notice is provided in accordance with the main national and international regulations, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and any other applicable legislation.
2. Who processes your data and how can you contact us?
Your personal data is processed by:
Robogest SRL
Via Cumiana 3, Grugliasco Piemonte 10095, IT
info@robogest.it
VAT number: 09235540011
For any information on the processing of personal data, or to exercise the rights provided by law, data subjects may contact the Controller.
3. What data do we collect when you visit the site?
When you browse this website, some information may be collected through cookies, similar tools and tracking technologies. The main types of data that may be recorded include:
- Technical and browsing information: IP address, identifiers of the device in use, browser and operating system information, date and time of access, pages visited, technical commands needed to display content correctly, system errors.
- Aggregate data and anonymous statistics: information used to assess and improve how the site works, such as visit frequency or the most viewed sections, collected without cookies and without identifying the individual visitor.
- Interactions with external services or social networks: technical data shared when you interact with social plugins, external services or third-party tools that may be integrated into the site, always according to the rules of the providers involved.
For details on the processing of data sent through contact forms, service requests or other features, please see our Privacy Policy.
4. What types of cookies (and similar technologies) exist?
To provide a better browsing experience, websites may use several categories of cookies and similar technologies (web beacons, local storage and equivalent technologies):
- Strictly necessary cookies: essential for the technical operation of the site, for example to manage the session or remember essential preferences.
- Preference and personalisation cookies: used to store display choices such as language, text size or browsing mode.
- Analytics and performance cookies: help understand how people use the site, collecting data in anonymised and aggregate form.
- Promotional or advertising cookies: used to show personalised commercial content and measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
- External components and services: when interacting with social plugins, analytics tools or third-party platforms, cookies or similar systems managed directly by external parties may be installed.
5. Do you need to give consent to browse this site?
No. In the EU and in countries with GDPR-like legislation, the user’s prior consent is required only for cookies and similar technologies that are not strictly necessary, such as profiling cookies or analytics tools that identify the visitor. This site does not use tools of this kind: it only uses technical tools needed for its operation and security, and cookieless aggregate visit statistics (see section 10).
For this reason, in line with the Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, 10 June 2021), the site does not display a consent banner. Should tools requiring consent be introduced in the future, consent will be collected in advance through a dedicated banner and this notice will be updated.
6. On what legal bases do we process data collected through cookies?
The processing of data collected through cookies and tracking tools is based on different legal bases: the performance of a service or pre-contractual activity requested by the user, compliance with legal obligations and, for specific purposes such as IT security and fraud prevention, the legitimate interest of the Controller.
7. How is your data protected?
Personal data is processed mainly with electronic and digital tools according to the principles of lawfulness, fairness, data minimisation, integrity and confidentiality, with appropriate measures such as HTTPS encryption of communications, regular backups and access limited to authorised and trained persons only.
8. Where may your data be transferred?
Data may be processed and transferred to countries in the European Economic Area (EEA), to Switzerland or to other countries recognised as “adequate” by the competent authorities. Current list of “adequate” countries: EU, Switzerland.
9. Who may receive your data?
- staff expressly authorised by the Controller and specifically trained;
- companies or consultants providing technical support, security, maintenance or analytics services, appointed as Data Processors;
- providers of external platforms, software or third-party services, within the limits of the stated purposes.
A detailed and up-to-date list of service providers is available on request.
10. Third-party services and profiling cookies
At present this site does not integrate third-party services that install profiling cookies and does not share browsing data with external parties for advertising or cross-site tracking purposes. Specifically:
- Self-hosted fonts: the site’s fonts are hosted directly on our servers. No call is made to external font services, so no browsing data is shared for this purpose.
- Google Maps: the company’s location is shown through a simple external link to Google Maps. The map is not embedded in the site: no Google resource is loaded while browsing, unless the user chooses to open the link, in which case the Google Privacy Policy applies.
- Contact and application forms: they are protected from spam by technical measures (honeypot field and server-side validation) and by Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-bot system active on both forms. Turnstile analyses technical browser signals to tell people from bots: it does not use profiling cookies and does not track users across sites, so it does not require prior consent. The script is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (privacy policy); the technical data collected is used only for abuse prevention.
- Visit statistics: the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless statistics service: it does not install cookies on the device, does not use local storage or fingerprinting techniques and does not track users across sites. It only collects aggregate data (for example number of visits and most viewed pages) that does not allow the individual visitor to be identified, and therefore does not require prior consent. The service is provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (privacy policy).
11. How long do we keep the data collected?
This site does not store cookie preferences, since it does not use cookies that require consent. Technical browsing data and aggregate statistics are kept only for as long as needed to ensure the security and operation of the site. For the retention of other data, such as data sent through the contact and application forms, please see the Privacy Policy on this site.
12. What are your rights regarding the data collected?
Users have the right to access, rectify, update and erase their data, to request restriction of or object to processing, to request data portability, to withdraw any consent given to non-technical cookies and to report any irregularities to the competent supervisory authorities. To exercise these rights, simply send a request to the Controller’s contact details.
